First Showings Completed! When’s Release?
At just over two years after our public launch in 2024, we have completed the film and hosted the premiere showings in Lexington, Kentucky!
We had one showing at the Lexington Public Library and another in the auditorium at Southland Christian Church, both of which were locations where we had filmed two years ago. It was a delightful time of reconnecting with friends, making new ones, sharing in dialogue about faith and disability, and celebrating the completed film with all who contributed to making it a reality. A huge thank you to everyone who worked to make these events happen!
Here are some photos of our time together.

You can still be in the film!
In early April, we posted an invitation to folks to be part of the film and that invitation is still open.
During the end credits of the film, Dr. John Swinton performs a song off of his latest album, Beautiful Songs About Difficult Things, and we have been putting together a slideshow of photos of people with disabilities to play during his performance. A number of you have submitted and we are so grateful, and there are still several spots left! If you or someone you love would like to be included in this slideshow and receive a preview of this film before our release to Youtube, click the button below and fill out the contact form with “Slideshow Photo” in the message box.
Youtube Release Date
The film will be available for free on our YouTube channel on July 31st, 2026! You will be able to find it on the homepage of this website or on our YouTube channel directly. We are excited for you all to see it!
Host A Screening
If you would like to host a large group showing, we would love to start a conversation with you and learn more. We have made a contact form for you to easily get in touch with us and share more about your event!
What’s Next?
With our pilot film completed we have developed plans for more storytelling around faith and disability. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
